Horseradish is a perennial plant of the family Brassicaceae. It is a root vegetable, cultivated and used worldwide as a spice and as a condiment as well as for medicinal purposes. The hot and spicy roots of horseradish make this plant a classic accompaniment to roast beef. We use it in our firecider mixes.
