Native to the Greek Islands, unusually coloured plants have indigo violet bells rimmed in white that dangle gracefully from bronzy blue bracts above rounded grey green leaves.

It has its name from the sweet taste of the flowers. The flowers have a drop of honey juice in their bottom thus the name.
