Bred in NZ Vlassoff is a variety of ‘Honey Fig’ and is sometimes referred to as ‘Athenree Dark’. Large round fruit that are purple/black when mature. Succulent red flesh. Double cropping in January and April. Needs a really sunny position with well drained soil and protection from harsh frost. We only get the main crop in January here though if were lucky we get some in December.
Plants are 15 to 40 cm tall and if ordered in winter will be leafless/dormant.
